Sacramento Chapter Information
Chartered in 1954, the Sacramento Valley Chapter was the fifth CLCA chapter to be organized. Many years ago the chapter convinced the City of Sacramento that, rather than a plumbing contractor, a landscape contractor should install sprinklers. The city then decided that only a C-27 landscape contractor could perform landscape installation.
The chapter's first big humanitarian project was the complete landscaping of the new Easter Seals building. The project involved 90 percent of the membership.
