Legislation Center
CLCA's Legislative Program includes professional lobbying in Sacramento and the nation's capital, grass roots action, and involvement in political coalitions. CLCA also has a political action committee, LandPAC, that raises funds from the landscape industry and uses that money to support qualified candidates for political office.
Every year during the spring CLCA organizes a Grass Roots Training Session and Legislation Conference for CLCA leaders.
CLCA's Legislation Committee, currently chaired by Pete Navarro of Blue Skies Landscape Maintenance, San Diego, oversees the association's governmental affairs program.
