CLCA’s recent successes in water management, legislation and member benefit programs are not the product of a liberal application of pixie dust, but the result of dedication and commitment by a special cadre of your colleagues.
In recognition of their years of service and leadership, the California Landscape Contractors Association has presented Marianne Estournes and Eric Watanabe with Allegiance Awards, the association’s most prestigious honor.
The awards, which are given only to a green industry professional who has been a member of the association for a minimum of 15 years and who has had a significant effect on the industry, was presented during the association’s annual Leadership Conference in Ontario January 30.
During the conference, the association named Regan Barry of Coastal Evergreen its 2017 Regular Member of the Year, honoring his professionalism and leadership.
Craig Stenehjem of SiteOne Landscape Supply was honored as CLCA’s 2017 Associate Member of the Year, honoring his enthusiasm and efforts to promote member engagement and professionalism.
The association presented its 2017 Mickey Strauss Grassroots Award to Dave Norred of Nor-Land Landscaping Company. The Mickey Strauss Grassroots Award recognizes a CLCA member who works to build relationships with members of the state Legislature, candidates for the Legislature, or possible future candidates. The recipient must be actively involved in a chapter and currently engaged in grassroots activity in support of CLCA’s governmental affairs objectives.
